Job summary

The position requires experience in fine dining, knowledge of beverage operations, and strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent guest relations and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a full service, fine dining hospitality setting.
• Understanding of liquor, wine and beer; certifications a plus.
• Knowledge of food products and cooking techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Micros Symphony POS system.
• Strong project planning and prioritization skills.
• Highly organized, pro-active and results driven.
• Excellent communicator and team motivator.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Hyatt guidelines and core values to ensure health, safety and comfort of colleagues and guests.
• Floor management—run the floor during service; guide staff, handle guest complaints and ensure excellent service.
• Ongoing training of hourly staff members.
• Process payroll and time edits; finalize schedules and submit payroll/documentation.
• Assist with administrative work—placing orders, paying invoices, organizing stockrooms, scheduling staff.
• Stay updated on food and beverage offerings and trends.
• Interact with guests before and after their visit; respond to online comments and social media.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, courteous demeanor with personalized service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
