Job summary

Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Collection in Telluride, CO, is seeking a Catering and Conference Services Manager to oversee all events and meetings at the property. The role coordinates catering, conference logistics, and guest experiences, ensuring seamless integration between the hotel, catering team, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of catering and event management experience, a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred), and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in catering and event management.
• Strong knowledge of event planning, catering operations and conference services.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for all event clients from inquiry through execution.
• Translate client needs into event specifications and ensure all requirements are met.
• Provide creative suggestions on event layout, catering and related needs.
• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing to maximize sales opportunities.
• Develop and implement detailed event plans including menus, staffing and timelines.
• Work with culinary and kitchen teams to ensure high quality food and beverage offerings.
• Coordinate room setups, AV equipment, and all logistical elements for a smooth event.
• Supervise event day logistics, maintaining timing, flow and guest satisfaction.
• Negotiate with vendors, manage contracts and ensure service quality.
• Maintain client satisfaction and gather post-event feedback for relationship building.
