Mark-Taylor in Mesa, AZ seeks a Manager of Community Operations to oversee maintenance, drive five-star service, and manage a portfolio of luxury multifamily communities. The role emphasizes occupancy, budgeting, and staff leadership to ensure operational excellence and resident satisfaction.

You will coordinate maintenance, set rent strategies, monitor expenses, and collaborate with property teams to uphold Mark-Taylor’s standards of quality and service throughout the asset.

Qualifications

• 1+ years operational experience in luxury multifamily setting as a Community Manager or similar title.
• Experience planning and executing resident events.
• 3+ years people management experience with leadership and mentorship skills.
• BA degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong financial acumen with Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue expectations by adjusting rent, managing expenses, and forecasting financial performance.
• Coach and mentor administrative and service staff to align with asset goals.
• Oversee hiring processes and performance management through HR practices.
• Conduct regular property inspections and drive property enhancements.

Compensation

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $70,000/year.
• In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible to receive bonuses based on achievement of operational metrics.

Requirements

• 1+ years operational experience in luxury multifamily setting as a Community Manager, or similar title required
• Experience planning and executing resident events
• 3+ years people management experience with demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills
• Demonstrated coaching and development ability
• BA degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
• Financial acumen with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills and professional presence
• Experience using Resman, Yardi, or similar platforms is especially desirable
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English

In This Role You Will

• Meet or exceed targeted revenue expectations by setting rent rates, managing operating expenses, and diligently monitoring aged delinquency. Prepare and review monthly financial reports with intuitive forecasting and a proactive plan for the financial performance of the asset
• Coach, mentor, and inspire a team of administrative and service personnel, coordinating their activities and individual goals through tactical planning
• Oversee the hiring process and ongoing employee performance management through courageous conversations and applicable HR processes.
• Conduct regular property inspections, propose, and own the resolution plan and execution of property enhancements.
