Kessler Hotels seeks a Catering Sales Manager for Casa Monica Resort and Spa, Autograph Collection in St. Augustine.

The role focuses on soliciting new catering accounts, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and coordinating events to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction. Candidates should have hotel sales experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple events with precision.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 2-year college degree and 3+ years of related experience; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Delphi proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or matters requiring attention.
• Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner.
• Follow up on turnovers within 24 hours via phone and 3 days in writing.
• Know meeting room setups and capabilities.
• Know sleeping room configurations and types.
• Respond to catering inquiries promptly.
• Maintain pricing integrity and propose upscale menus for clients.
• Plan and execute holiday and special events in conjunction with the Director of Catering.
• Interact with outside planners and vendors for event setup.
• Assist staff on the floor during functions.
