Job summary

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking a skilled Catering & Conference Services Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of catering and special events. You will serve as the primary client contact, coordinating with resort departments to ensure exceptional service and financial success.

Ideal candidates have a college degree in a related field and at least 2 years of catering or hospitality sales experience, with strong English communication, organizational skills, and computer

Qualifications

• College degree preferred in hospitality or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in catering, conference services, events, or hospitality sales.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of food/beverage service and banquet operations.
• English reading, writing and speaking fluency.

Responsibilities

• Sell, coordinate, and execute catering events from planning to completion.
• Serve as primary client contact, ensuring timely communication and service.
• Conduct site tours, pursue new business, and maintain client relationships.
• Develop BEOs and event documentation for internal teams.
• Coordinate menus, beverages, rentals, logistics, timelines, and vendors.
• Drive revenue via menu enhancements and upselling.
• Monitor guarantees, deposits, attendance, staffing, and deadlines.
• Maintain event details in systems and communicate updates.
• Attend planning and operational meetings and provide updates.
• Provide on-site event management and client/vendor coordination.
• Build strong client/vendor relationships and monitor trends.
