Job summary

Kessler Hotels is seeking a Banquet Houseperson for Casa Monica Resort and Spa (Autograph Collection) in St. Augustine, FL. You will be responsible for the setup, refresh, tear down, and maintenance of all meeting spaces, ensuring cleanliness and order.

You will assist with equipment handling and support guest satisfaction through attentive service. Responsibilities include coordinating with teams, following Banquet Event Orders, and maintaining storerooms and function areas while upholding

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; related hotel experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule with long hours as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
• Able to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and employees.
• Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain regular attendance per hotel standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and proper uniform.
• Comply with hotel standards and safety regulations.
• Be proactive in maintaining cleanliness and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Set up, refresh, tear down and maintain all banquet space.
• Ensure correct and timely setup of all functions per Banquet Event Orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across banquet spaces and storage areas.
• Keep banquet storeroom neat and stocked with supplies.
• Break down after events and store equipment properly.
• Transport and store tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Refresh meeting rooms as needed.
• Notify management of hazards.
• Handle Lost and Found per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
