Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service, drive cosmetics sales, and build strong client relationships. Under the Cosmetics Selling Manager, you will support in-house training, host facial events, and maintain an impeccably merchandised counter while closing sales.

You will leverage Saks clienteling tools to grow your own business and contribute to department success. Prior retail and cosmetics experience is preferred in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience, preferably in cosmetics
• Proven sales record with quota achievement
• Able to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment and multitask
• Able to learn and use Saks online clienteling tools and software
• Attention to detail, initiative and positive attitude
• Able to work with others and independently to drive business
• Demonstrate sound business judgment and organizational ability
• Demonstrate professional makeup consultation and application

Responsibilities

• Model Saks Fifth Avenue Principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank
• Focus on achieving exceedance of individual and vendor sales goals
• Maintain high level of customer service and develop strong customer relationships
• Act as liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and Account Executive
• Record and maintain client information and preferences via clienteling tools
• Provide exceptional customer experience from approach to closing the sale and follow-up
• Maintain counter standards: clean, tidy, welcoming selling area
