Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service, build client relationships, and drive cosmetic sales. Under the Cosmetics Selling Manager, you will merchandise the counter, participate in training, and contribute to a premium in-store experience consistent with our luxury brand.

You will focus on clienteling, events, and closing sales while maintaining counter standards and brand representation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience or more.
• Proven sales record with quota attainment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multitasking.
• Ability to learn and use Saks proprietary clienteling tools.
• Attention to detail; proactive and positive demeanor.
• Ability to collaborate with others and work independently to drive business.
• Demonstrate sound business judgment and organizational ability.
• Demonstrate professional makeup and treatment consultation and application.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uphold Saks Fifth Avenue Principles.
• Aim to meet or exceed individual and department sales targets.
• Build strong customer relationships as the brand expert and department representative.
• Serve as liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and the Account Executive.
• Record and maintain client information in the clienteling system to drive business.
• Guide customers from approach to closing the sale and follow-up.
