Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, build individual and vendor line sales, and maintain a properly merchandised cosmetics counter. You will engage clients, book facial consultations, and drive your own book of business through Saks clienteling tools.

Under direction of the Cosmetics Selling Manager, you will focus on in-house training, events, and closing sales while upholding Saks standards, brand image, and a high level of customer care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
• Proven sales history with quota attainment.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Learn and use Saks clienteling tools and proprietary software.

Responsibilities

• Model Saks Fifth Avenue Principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank.
• Aim to exceed individual and department sales goals and event targets.
• Maintain high level of customer service and develop strong customer relationships.
• Represent the brand as the department liaison and counter ambassador.
• Record client information and preferences using clienteling tools to drive sales.
• Focus on providing an exceptional customer experience from approach to closing the sale.
• Maintain counter standards, keeping area clean, welcoming, and merchandised.
