Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a dynamic and passionate Banquet Manager to lead the execution of exceptional banquet and event experiences within a luxury resort setting, inspiring a high-performing team and ensuring flawless delivery of weddings, social events, corporate functions, and VIP gatherings.

As part of the Food & Beverage leadership, you will oversee banquet operations, scheduling, payroll, inventory controls, and cost management while building strong guest and client

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Banquet Manager Experience.
• 5 years of Food and Beverage experience.
• Experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
• Extensive wine knowledge.
• Knowledge of food and cooking methods.
• Strong organization and Supervisory skills.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service execution and memorable guest experiences.
• Work alongside the team during event setup, service, and breakdown while maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
• Oversee scheduling, labor management, payroll, forecasting, inventory controls, and departmental expenses.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop top hospitality talent while fostering a positive and engaged team culture.
• Drive colleague performance through ongoing training, recognition, and career development opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage to maximize revenues, control costs, and elevate the guest experience.
• Build strong relationships with guests, clients, meeting planners, and internal partners to ensure seamless event execution.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns, identifying opportunities to exceed expectations and create lasting impressions.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, food safety requirements, and operational procedures.
• Lead departmental communication and planning efforts to ensure successful coordination across all hotel departments.
• Support strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall banquet performance.
