Job summary

Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a dynamic Banquet Manager to lead luxury banquet and event experiences, overseeing operations, guest satisfaction, and a high-performing team within our luxury resort.

This hands-on leadership role includes managing event setup, service and breakdown, scheduling, payroll, forecasting, and expenses while partnering with culinary and F&B leadership to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction across weddings, social events and corporate functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Banquet Manager Experience.
• 5 years of Food and Beverage experience.
• Experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
• Extensive wine knowledge.
• Knowledge of food and cooking methods.
• Strong organization and Supervisory skills.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all banquet operations, ensuring luxury service and guest experiences.
• Oversee event setup, service and breakdown to uphold luxury standards.
• Manage scheduling, labor, payroll, forecasting, inventory controls and expenses.
• Recruit, onboard, coach and develop hospitality talent and foster a positive team culture.
• Drive performance through training, recognition and career development opportunities.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and F&B leadership to maximize revenues and control costs.
• Build strong relationships with guests, meeting planners and internal partners for seamless events.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns and identify opportunities to exceed expectations.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, food safety and procedures.
• Lead cross-hotel coordination and strategic initiatives for operational efficiency.
