Job summary

Fontainebleau Miami Beach seeks an experienced banquet operations professional to assist the Director of Event Operations in managing F&B service for conferences and catering events. You will ensure high service standards, accurate payroll, and efficient banquet operations to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include supervising shifts, coordinating with kitchen and stewarding, and maintaining inventories while building strong relationships with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-quality, high-volume catering and convention operation (min 3 years).
• Supervisory experience preferred (2+ years).
• Education: high school or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee F&B operations and service standards for conferences and events.
• Understand impact of banquet operations on event success and maximize guest satisfaction.
• Manage inventories and equipment; control costs and beverage records.
• Develop relationships with groups to retain business and drive growth.
• Lead shifts and coordinate with kitchen, stewarding, and other departments.
• Resolve guest concerns and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
