Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a dynamic Banquet Manager to lead luxury banquet and event experiences, overseeing operations, guest satisfaction, and a high-performing team within our luxury resort.

This hands-on leadership role includes managing event setup, service and breakdown, scheduling, payroll, forecasting, and expenses while partnering with culinary and F&B leadership to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction across weddings, social events and corporate functions.

• Minimum 3 years Banquet Manager Experience.
• 5 years of Food and Beverage experience.
• Experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
• Extensive wine knowledge.
• Knowledge of food and cooking methods.
• Strong organization and Supervisory skills.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse operation.

• Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, food safety and procedures.
• Lead cross-hotel coordination and strategic initiatives for operational efficiency.

About the Role

As Banquet Manager, you will lead the execution of exceptional banquet and event experiences while inspiring a high-performing team committed to luxury service excellence. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing banquet operations, colleague engagement, financial performance, and the flawless delivery of weddings, social events, corporate functions, and special events throughout the resort.

Responsibilities

• Lead all banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service execution and memorable guest experiences.
• Work alongside the team during event setup, service, and breakdown while maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
• Oversee scheduling, labor management, payroll, forecasting, inventory controls, and departmental expenses.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop top hospitality talent while fostering a positive and engaged team culture.
• Drive colleague performance through ongoing training, recognition, and career development opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage to maximize revenues, control costs, and elevate the guest experience.
• Build strong relationships with guests, clients, meeting planners, and internal partners to ensure seamless event execution.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns, identifying opportunities to exceed expectations and create lasting impressions.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, food safety requirements, and operational procedures.
• Lead departmental communication and planning efforts to ensure successful coordination across all hotel departments.
• Support strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall banquet performance.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years Banquet Manager Experience.

5 years of Food and Beverage experience.

Experience in the luxury hospitality industry.

Extensive wine knowledge.

Knowledge of food and cooking methods.

Strong organization and Supervisory skills.

Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse operation.
