Job summary

Lexus of Thousand Oaks, part of Swickard Auto Group, seeks an experienced Sales Manager to lead the luxury sales floor in Conejo Valley. You will desk deals, coach consultants, and maintain a hospitality-first guest experience from first contact through delivery.

With 2+ years of desk manager or sales manager experience, you will structure deals with integrity, monitor key metrics, collaborate with finance, recruit staff, and ensure seamless operations across a 40+ rooftop organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Sales Manager or desk manager experience at a franchised dealership.
• Lexus, Toyota, or luxury brand sales management experience is a meaningful advantage.
• Confident at the desk to structure deals quickly while maintaining guest relationships.
• Coaching-first leadership with a focus on developing consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor daily — desk deals, manage consultant performance, and maintain guest experience from first contact through delivery.
• Coach and develop the sales consultant team — conduct regular one-on-ones, review CRM activity, and build skills that drive performance.
• Structure deals with accuracy and integrity — present options that serve the guest while protecting store gross.
• Monitor and hold the team to key metrics — closing ratio, units, gross per vehicle, lead response time, and CRM compliance.
• Partner with finance for clean deal handoffs and seamless guest experience through purchase process.
• Manage floor coverage, scheduling, and staffing — ensure consistent sales team availability and productive floor operations.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard sales consultants in partnership with the General Manager.
• Handle guest escalations with composure and a solution-first approach.
