Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking an Alterations Manager to lead the Alterations Associates under the Assistant General Manager of Operations. You will organize processes, drive outcomes, and maintain exceptional service standards in a luxury retail setting.

The role requires 3+ years of management experience, a 4-year degree preferred and knowledge of alterations. Proficiency with Word/Excel and flexible scheduling is expected, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree preferred.
• 3+ years of management experience with comparable volume or a proven track record of success managing operations workforce and achieving results.
• Fitting/tailoring experience in high-end or luxury merchandise setting is preferred, not required.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments is preferred, not required.
• Knowledge of Alterations industry including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise.
• Proficiency in utilizing available technology, Word, Excel etc. is required. Must be flexible in scheduling as the business needs evening weekend and holiday schedules.

• Deliver ongoing education, assessment and performance feedback to associates with regard to quality, productivity, service and alterations policy and procedures
• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed
