Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking an Alterations Associate to produce high quality altered merchandise within established timeframes while delivering outstanding customer service. Under the Alterations Manager, you will tailor a wide range of garments and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Responsibilities include applying Neiman Marcus service standards, assisting customers, following policies, and contributing to departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years seamstress/tailoring experience in high-end merchandise.
• Ability to tailor and press a wide range of garments.
• Strong technical background in leather, knits, beading and fine tailoring is a plus.
• Pressing and spotting skills; knowledge of luxury alterations industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-level customer service and develop relationships.
• Follow all Neiman Marcus policies and alteration procedures.
• Make alteration decisions during fittings with expertise.
