Neiman Marcus in Troy, MI seeks an Alterations Manager to lead the Alterations Associates and deliver exceptional service to clients and the selling team.

You will organize processes, coach staff, and ensure high standards in luxury tailoring. 4-year degree preferred and 3+ years of management in high-end retail, with proficiency in tailoring operations and relevant tech tools.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree preferred.
• 3+ years of management experience with comparable volume in luxury retail.
• Fitting/tailoring experience in high-end or luxury merchandise setting preferred, not required.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments preferred, not required.
• Knowledge of alterations industry including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise.
• Proficiency in utilizing available technology (Word, Excel, etc.) is required.

• Organize and build structural processes for the operations.
• Drive positive outcomes through clear objectives and progress monitoring.
• Create a professional work environment by modeling excellence and standards.
• Foster effective teamwork between selling organization and Alterations department.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by recruiting, selecting, training, and developing Alterations Associates.
• Provide ongoing education, assessment and feedback on quality, productivity, service and alterations policy.
