Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue Greenwich seeks an Alterations Manager to lead the alterations teams serving Saks Fifth Avenue Greenwich and Neiman Marcus Westchester. You will build department processes and ensure exceptional client service while supporting the selling organization.

The role requires management experience, knowledge of alterations and luxury garments, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Proficiency with Word/Excel and tailoring expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of management experience with comparable volume or results.
• Knowledge of alterations, garment fabrication, and luxury merchandise.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and available technology.
• Fitting and tailoring experience in a high-end setting is preferred; a four-year degree is preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Organize and build structural processes, monitor objectives, and drive results.
• Foster teamwork between the selling organization and the alterations department.
• Recruit, select, train, and develop alterations associates.
• Provide ongoing education, performance feedback, and oversight of service, quality, productivity, and procedures.
