Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a skilled Tailor to conduct alterations, resizing and restyling of merchandise across stores. You will assist fitters to achieve goals with attention to fit, alteration quality and garment integrity.

Key duties include altering garments to high Neiman Marcus standards, operating sewing equipment, and self-inspecting work to ensure quality. Prior tailoring/industrial sewing exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tailoring operation or industrial sewing environment.
• Ability to read English and understand instructions from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Alter constructed garments to Neiman Marcus standards or better than original construction.
• Alter seams, sleeves, shoulders, and other areas as specified.
• Operate and maintain sewing equipment and tools.
• Self-inspect completed work for quality compliance and accuracy.
