Job summary

Saks Global Greenwich is seeking an Alterations Manager to lead the Alterations Associates at Greenwich and Neiman Marcus Westchester, delivering exceptional service to a luxury clientele.

Under the Assistant General Manager of Operations, you will organize processes, drive performance, recruit and develop staff, and uphold Saks' standards of excellence with a strong focus on fitting and tailoring high-end garments.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree preferred.
• 3+ years of management experience in operations.
• Fitting/tailoring experience in luxury merchandise preferred.
• Able to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments.
• Knowledge of alterations industry and luxury fabrication.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Organize and build structural processes.
• Drive positive outcomes through objectives and measuring progress.
• Create a professional work environment by communicating standards of excellence.
• Create effective teamwork between selling organization and the Alterations department.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by recruiting, training, and developing associates.
• Deliver ongoing education, assessment and feedback to associates; ad hoc duties as needed.
