Job summary

Regent Santa Monica Beach, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Pool Server to uphold our luxury standards by serving beverages, taking orders, and explaining menu items. You will help stock supplies, support the bartender, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure accurate food orders.

You will greet and seat guests, maintain pool area cleanliness, adjust chaise loungers and umbrellas, and deliver five-star service with teamwork and clear communication.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in food and beverage operations, ideally in luxury hotel or fine dining.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, limited space environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must understand and follow Regent Santa Monica's service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Promote Regent’s service philosophy and style through staff attributes.
• Deliver attentive, polished hospitality to all guests.
• Speak knowledgeably about the menu and wine list.
• Set up and break down pool area, move umbrellas and chairs.
• Replenish beverages and towels and assist with hourly pool amenities.
• Deliver five-star service in a luxury resort setting.
