Job summary

Omni Berkshire Place is a luxury New York hotel seeking a friendly, motivated concierge to elevate guest experiences in Midtown Manhattan. You will arrange bookings, assist with airline reconfirmations, and guide guests on local attractions.

Responsibilities include coordinating restaurant reservations, arranging transportation, delivering parcels to guest rooms and maintaining lobby standards in collaboration with Housekeeping. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous luxury hotel experience is required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Customer service oriented, able to multi-task, detail oriented and well organized.
• Knowledge of surrounding area and its attractions; familiarity with local points of interest.
• Knowledge of Property Management Systems and related computer programs, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Arrange bookings and reconfirm airline tickets for guests.
• Be familiar with local attractions to assist guests.
• Arrange restaurant reservations and limousines as required by guests.
• Deliver parcels, mail, and special deliveries to guest rooms.
• Coordinate with the lobby and Housekeeping to keep public areas clean and presentable.
• Accept other duties as assigned by management.
• Set up amenities for guests celebrating special occasions.
• Coordinate special packages with concierge and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, welcoming manner and seek ways to improve their hotel experience.
