Job summary

Omni Berkshire Place in New York City seeks a seasoned catering sales and conference services professional to drive group business and coordinate event details with hotel departments.

You will prepare resumes for groups, uphold SOPs, and ensure seamless site inspections, client visits, and post-event follow-ups while delivering exceptional service in a luxury hotel setting.

Flexibility to work weekends/holidays and a polished presence are required to excel in this 24-hour operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in catering sales or conference services, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, non-verbal).
• Professional appearance and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare resumes for groups ten days prior to arrival and review details in weekly staff meetings.
• Adhere to Catering and Conference Services SOPs and hotel standards.
• Coordinate all aspects of conferences, including food and beverage, AV, room setup, and attendee logistics.
• Assist with hotel marketing efforts and creating event flyers.
• Ensure client accounts are serviced in accordance with hotel standards and maintain client relations.
