Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Thermal Engineer to lead system-level transient thermal analysis for lunar landers and related vehicles. You will apply your expertise in Thermal Desktop and SINDA, perform trade studies, and document results to support safe human spaceflight.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in thermal engineering, strong fundamentals, and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment. U.S. citizenship or eligible status is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering required.
• 8+ years of thermal engineering/analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of thermal fundamentals.
• Demonstrated thermal analysis skills.
• Ability to earn trust and work in an inclusive culture.
• Experience with Thermal Desktop and SINDA.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level transient thermal analysis for lunar landers.
• Capture inputs, conduct trade studies, predict temperatures and heat transfer.
• Document results and present findings to the team.
• Collaborate with Thermal Engineers to advance lunar vehicle development.
