Qualifications

• Requires a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering and 2+ years in thermal engineering/analysis.
• Solid understanding of thermal fundamentals and demonstrated thermal analysis skills.
• Familiarity with modeling spacecraft thermal performance using Thermal Desktop and Sinda/Fluint.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level transient thermal analysis of lunar transport vehicles across ground, launch, Earth orbit, cis-lunar space, lunar orbit and surface environments using Thermal Desktop.
• Capture system inputs, construct and vet analysis models, and perform trade studies.
• Generate temperature and heat transfer predictions and document results for technical reviews.
• Collaborate with teammates to apply technical leadership and ensure quality in deliverables.
• Support mission-focused decisions with rigorous analysis and clear communication.
