Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a seasoned Thermal Engineer to support the Lunar Permanence program in Seattle. You will apply your expertise in heat transfer and thermal hardware to lunar lander architectures, and help drive designs from concept through build, test, and verification within a cross-functional team.

The role requires a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 3+ years of thermal experience, and strong CAD/CFD skills. Relocation and travel may be required as part of program needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant Thermal Engineering experience.
• Strong grasp of heat transfer and fluid system fundamentals.
• Familiarity with heat exchangers, cold plates, and other spacecraft hardware.
• Experience in CAD; Creo preferred.
• Understanding of aerospace hardware verification and validation process.
