Job summary

Blue Origin's Lunar Permanence team seeks a Thermal Engineer to join the Heat Transfer group, applying heat transfer and fluid fundamentals to lunar lander hardware.

You will design, size, build, and test thermal components, lead cross-functional collaboration, and drive verification through build and test cycles to ensure safe human spaceflight. This role offers relocation support and travel up to 20%, with a strong commitment to safety and mission success.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 3+ years of thermal engineering experience.
• Strong heat transfer and fluid fundamentals.
• Familiarity with heat exchangers, cold plates, radiators.
• Experience designing, sizing, building and testing hardware.
• Aerospace hardware verification and validation understanding.
• CAD familiarity, preferably Creo.
• CFD methods for component-level analysis.
• Experience delivering results in cross-functional teams.
