Qualifications

  • B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering
  • 3+ years in thermal engineering
  • Strong heat transfer/fluids fundamentals
  • Familiarity with heat exchangers, cold plates, radiators
  • Experience designing, sizing, building, testing hardware
  • Understanding aerospace hardware verification/validation
  • Moderate CAD experience; Creo preferred
  • CFD methods for component analysis
  • Experience in cross-functional teamwork

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to yeast thermal hardware designs for lunar landers
  • Lead sizing, build, test, and verification of thermal components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance goals
  • Apply CREO modeling and drawing best practices
  • Support hardware verification/validation activities
