Job summary

Blue Origin’s Lunar Core Components Heat Transfer team seeks a Thermal Engineer to advance thermal hardware for our lunar lander architectures. You will contribute to a team delivering heat transfer solutions through design, build, test, and verification activities, applying your CAD and CFD skills with rigor and a strong quality mindset.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, continuous improvement, and alignment with safety and mission goals for crewed spaceflight.

Qualifications

• B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 3+ years of thermal engineering experience.
• Strong grasp of heat transfer and fluid fundamentals.
• Familiarity with heat exchangers, cold plates, radiators, and other spacecraft hardware.
• Experience designing, sizing, building, and testing hardware.
• Understanding of aerospace hardware verification and validation process.
• CAD experience (Creo preferred).
• CFD methods for component-level analysis.
• Experience in cross-functional team environments.
