Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an engineer to perform system-level transient thermal analysis of lunar transport vehicles using Thermal Desktop across ground, launch, and space environments. You will capture inputs, build models, run trade studies, and document results.

A BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required, with 2 years of relevant experience; MS is a plus. Proficiency in Python or MATLAB is encouraged.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering required
• MS in mechanical or aerospace engineering preferred
• Demonstrated thermal analysis skills and understanding of thermal fundamentals
• Familiarity with Thermal Desktop and Sinda/Fluint

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level transient thermal analysis for lunar transport vehicles across ground, launch, and space environments.
• Capture inputs, build and vet models, and conduct trade studies to predict temperature and heat transfer.
• Document results and communicate findings clearly to multidisciplinary teams.
