Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an engineer to perform system level transient thermal analysis for lunar transport vehicles across a variety of space environments. You will develop and validate Thermal Desktop models, conduct trade studies, and document findings to support the Human Landing System program with NASA collaboration.

The role requires a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 2+ years of thermal analysis experience, and proficiency with Thermal Desktop and Sinda/Fluint.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform system level transient thermal analysis of lunar transport vehicles across ground, launch, Earth orbit, cis-lunar space, lunar orbit and lunar surface environments using Thermal Desktop.
• Capture system inputs, construct and vet analysis models, perform system level trade studies, generate temperature and heat transfer predictions, and document results.
