Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Manager of the Separation & Crew Mechanisms group within the Lunar Mechanisms team. You will manage product-focused teams developing, building and testing hardware critical to lunar missions, with accountability for leadership, requirements, performance, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

8+ years in full lifecycle development of aerospace structures and/or mechanisms.
Experience leading and mentoring technical teams and cross-functional groups.
Strong ability to define requirements, design solutions, verification and validation, and qualification.

Responsibilities

Define, own, and control the subsystem technical baseline and lead technical work.
Define, own, and control the subsystem cost and schedule baseline and drive improvements.
Lead a team of engineers to design, analyze, manufacture, integrate, test, and deliver hardware/software components.
Manage external procurements and internal hardware dependencies.
Coach direct reports on performance and career development.
