Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a Manager of the Separation & Crew Mechanisms group within the Lunar Permanence unit to lead a team creating and testing hardware for lunar missions. You will own technical baselines, budgets, and schedules while guiding career development and cross-functional collaboration in a high-pace environment.

The role requires 8+ years in aerospace mechanics with strong leadership, plus a BS in engineering; MS/PhD is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of leading technical teams in aerospace structures or mechanisms.
• BS in engineering or technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• demonstrated ability to manage cost, schedule, and risk.
• excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and control baseline for subsystem technical, cost, and schedule.
• Lead a team to design, analyze, manufacture, integrate, and test hardware/software.
• Manage external procurements and internal dependencies for timely deliveries.
• Mentor direct reports and drive data-driven program excellence.
