Zusammenfassung

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Manager for AERS Engineering & Systems within the Lunar Permanence domain to lead a team of Component Test Engineers responsible for the development, qualification, and acceptance testing of components for Blue Moon landers.

The role partners with Design Responsible Engineers, Quality, Operations/Production, and other teams to deliver integrated test solutions across the full component lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in development, qualification, or acceptance testing of electromechanical systems, thermal systems, or fluid systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot component and system-level faults and drive corrective action.
• Proven ability to build, motivate, and retain a high-performing team of engineers.
• Fosters safety, open communication, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and perform analysis.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical leadership for development, qualification, and acceptance testing of components.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and requirements for developmental and production objectives.
• Coordinate with internal customers to plan, schedule, and allocate resources for test campaigns.
• Identify and mitigate risks; communicate to leadership when escalation is needed.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, development planning, and performance management.
• Drive a culture of safety and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
