Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is hiring a Vehicle Requirements and Design Parameters Lead for the MK1 Lunar Lander. You will define and own vehicle requirements, design parameters, interfaces, budgets, and verification plans, coordinating across NASA-like teams and internal IPTs to ensure mission success.

You will lead trade studies, manage configuration control, and report key metrics to program leadership while fostering an inclusive, safety-first culture in a fast-paced spaceflight environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in requirements and design definitions.
• Knowledge of space systems design, interfaces, and verification.
• Ability to lead across multiple stakeholders and communicate technical info.

Responsibilities

• Define vehicle requirements, design parameters, and performance measures.
• Own the vehicle design and specification tree; manage interfaces and budgets.
• Coordinate design trades, reviews, and change control processes.
• Develop plans across cross-functional teams and report metrics to leadership.
