Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Payload Responsible Engineer for the MK1 Lunar Lander Vehicle Engineering team. You will own end-to-end payload integration from interface definition through to delivery on the lunar surface, interfacing with customers and vehicle engineers to ensure mission success.

You will lead verification planning, develop test matrices, and drive issue resolution across payload and vehicle teams, while coordinating with subsystem teams to assess cross-discipline impacts and ensure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering on flight hardware programs.
• Detailed knowledge of space systems design, interfaces, and requirements (mechanical, electrical, thermal, data, RF).
• Experience planning and executing integration testing, defining objectives and success criteria, leading investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration, test, and verification of the payload with the vehicle.
• Own the payload-vehicle requirements and ICDs; develop verification plans and evidence.
• Prepare and present material for program reviews and customer meetings as the payload integration authority.
• Coordinate with vehicle subsystem teams to assess payload impacts and drive cross-discipline resolution.
