Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Greater Seattle area seeks an MK1 Hardware/Software Systems Engineer to lead hardware/software integration for the MK1 Lunar Lander, spanning avionics and software interfaces. You will plan, execute, and analyze integration tests in the Vehicle Test Bed (VTB) and SIL environments, author test plans, and maintain test artifacts to program standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, computer science, or related technical degree.
• 4+ years of hardware/software integration and verification of complex avionics or embedded systems.
• Experience authoring test plans, procedures, and verification reports.
• Understanding of avionics architectures and system-level HW/SW interaction.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware/software integration scope and define test objectives and performance criteria.
• Lead integration activities for avionics, propulsion, power systems, and subsystems.
• Plan and execute integration test campaigns in VTB and SIL; manage readiness and execution.
• Author test procedures and reports; coordinate interface requirements and resolve anomalies.
• Maintain configuration control of test artifacts and drive root-cause investigations.
