Roadrunner is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily dock, freight, and terminal operations in the San Francisco area. You will translate network strategy into execution, protect shipment integrity, optimize load flow, and ensure safety, compliance, and financial discipline in a fast-paced LTL environment.

You will supervise frontline teams, manage budgets and labor utilization, coordinate with linehaul contractors and internal stakeholders, and drive measurable improvements in service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of relevant operations or logistics experience (or equivalent combination).
• Experience in transportation, LTL, warehouse, or service center operations preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and evaluate team members.
• Strong safety and Hazmat handling knowledge; Hazmat certification preferred.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
• Analytical and mathematical skills to interpret data.
• Proficient in PC applications (email, spreadsheets, databases); AS/400 experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving capability in non-standardized situations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily dock operations including load planning and linehaul coordination.
• Monitor costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and margin.
• Ensure safety, compliance with DOT/OSHA and hazmat standards.
• Supervise and develop service center personnel with accountability.
• Collaborate with linehaul contractors, drivers, and internal teams to move freight.
