Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities in an assigned geography by executing marketing strategies to ensure a successful launch and make a meaningful difference through the execution of commercial activities.

SAMs will be responsible for product performance at a territory level and expected to be a disease state expert, product champion and an account specialist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years pharma/biotech sales experience, with 2+ years in LTC.
• Top 10% or Elite/President’s Club performance.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Willing to live within the assigned geography and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive LTC facility product adoption and engagement.
• Develop territory business plans with account plans.
• Call on LTC care teams and build relationships.
• Navigate payer policies and reimbursement support.
• Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
• Provide feedback to leadership and cross-functional teams.
