Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities and execute strategic plans for an assigned geography.

The SAM will become a disease-state expert, product champion, and account specialist responsible for building relationships with LTC care teams and market access professionals. The role requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales with 2+ years in LTC, launch experience preferred, and residence within the

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding results (Top 10% or Elite/President’s Club).
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong digital marketing aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive product adoption in LTC facilities and engage LTC care teams.
• Build meaningful relationships across physicians, nurses and care staff in LTC.
• Develop territory business plans and target quarterly/annual goals.
• Navigate payer policies and patient access programs.
• Communicate territory activity and provide feedback to sales leadership.
• Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
