Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary focused on Controllership Governance. You will govern LTC models, data flows, and controls to ensure compliance with standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency.

The role requires leadership in model governance, valuation, projections, and experience analysis, with a focus on improving processes and expanding oversight to new teams and products.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or related major.
• FSA or ASA designation with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of actuarial experience, preferably LTC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of valuation, projections, and experience analyses.
• Team-oriented, collaborative approach across functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LTC governance and controllership across actuarial models and processes.
• Provide guidance on controls for valuation, projections, and experience analyses.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on data issues and controls.
• Develop clear model/process documentation for transparency.
• Support model governance peer reviews and governance process improvements.
• Assist with expansion of governance to new teams and products.
• Provide peer review support for LTC actuarial model development.
• Manage cross-functional coordination to ensure control consistency.
