Job summary

UnitedHealth Group through its Amedisys partnership is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator - Clinical to organize home visit scheduling and coordinate patient care. You will work under the Clinical Manager to optimize resource use and maximize center productivity.

You will handle scheduling, communications with patients and field staff, and ensure visits align with orders and clinician capacity. Prior experience in healthcare administration and travel willingness are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN/LVN or RN license in the state of assignment
• 1+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment
• 1+ years of scheduling experience in a healthcare environment
• Ability and willingness to travel as required by the business
• Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and required automobile insurance

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient assessment visits including Oasis visits
• Prepares weekly clinician schedules and reviews capacity
• Assigns clinicians to optimize geography and care matching
• Ensures missed visits are rescheduled or referred for resolution
• Manages calls from patients and field staff about scheduling issues
• Monitors hospitalized patients and follow-up with care team
• Completes schedules with all orders and services as required
• Supports timely communication with patients, clinicians and referrals
