Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Patient Services Coordinator - Clinical to schedule home visits for field staff and assist with coordinating patient care. You will work under the Clinical Manager to maximize care center capacity and productivity.

Responsibilities include preparing clinician schedules, optimizing geography, handling scheduling calls, and ensuring timely communication with patients, clinicians, referral sources and staff. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unencumbered LPN/LVN or RN license in the state of assignment.
• 1+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment and scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient assessment visits and Oasis visits in a timely manner.
• Prepares weekly clinician schedules and monitors capacity.
• Optimizes geography to maximize clinician efficiency and care delivery.
• Handles calls about scheduling issues and coordinates with the Clinical Manager.
• Maintains communications with patients, clinicians, referrals and office staff.
• Runs reports and supports transfer of patients between centers as needed.
• May provide direct patient care in emergencies if licensed.
• Maintains supply closet and supports intake processes when needed.
