Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator - Clinical to schedule home visits and coordinate patient care. Under the Clinical Manager, you will optimize resource utilization, build clinician schedules, and ensure timely visits across the care center.

You will handle scheduling coordination, travel as required, and collaborate with field staff, patients, and referral sources to maintain smooth operations. Requires active LPN/RN license and scheduling experience.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unencumbered LPN/LVN or RN license in the state of assignment.
• 1+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment.
• 1+ years of scheduling experience in a healthcare environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required by the business.
• Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and required automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient assessment visits including Oasis visits.
• Prepares and reviews weekly clinician schedules for capacity and productivity.
• Ensures clinicians are assigned efficiently across geographies.
• Coordinates with field staff to complete visits as ordered and within care center.
