Job summary

Vancrest of Urbana, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in our facility in Ohio.

Starting pay is $28 per hour, with a $4 shift premium on weekend Warrior shifts, and pay is determined by the hiring manager during the interview. Responsibilities include implementing resident plans of care, administering treatments, assisting with assessments, delegating tasks to nursing assistants, documenting in patient records, and communicating care

Qualifications

• Nursing license required.

Responsibilities

• Implementing a resident plan of care.
• Performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations.
• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegating suitable components of the care plan to the nursing assistants, provides guidance and supervision when necessary.
• Consulting with and validating data.
• Recording pertinent information in the patient record.
• Identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments.
• Communicating residents care needs to others involved in the care.
• Assuming responsibility for professional growth and development.
