Job summary

Hillside is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated care team. This full-time role offers the FT 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) or FT 3rd shift (6pm-6am), with opportunities to make a difference in residents' lives.

Responsibilities include implementing resident plans of care, administering treatments, assisting with assessments, and collaborating with the nursing team. A current nursing license is required, and supervision of nursing assistants is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Nursing license (LPN or RN) valid in the state.
• Experience with resident care and plan of care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implementing a resident plan of care.
• Performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations
• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Delegating suitable components of the care plan to nursing assistants and supervising them when necessary
• Consulting with and validating data
• Recording pertinent information in the patient record
• Identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments
• Communicating residents' care needs to other team members
• Assuming responsibility for professional growth and development
