Job summary

Vancrest of Urbana, Inc. is seeking an LPN to join our Hillside nursing team. The role includes implementing resident care plans, administering treatments, and assisting with assessments to improve residents’ well-being.

Starting wages range from $27 to $33 per hour, depending on experience, with a $2 shift differential for 3rd shift. A $1500 sign-on bonus is offered; starting shifts FT 1st and FT 3rd, 3 days a week and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Nursing License required.
• Experience in direct resident care is a plus.
• Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN).

Responsibilities

• Implementing a resident plan of care.
• Administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations.
• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegating suitable components of the care plan to nursing assistants and supervising when necessary.
• Consulting with and validating data.
• Recording pertinent information in the patient record.
• Identifying and evaluating residents’ responses to health problems and treatments.
• Communicating residents’ care needs to others involved in the care.

Starting wages range between $27-$33 depending on experience with final rates determined by the hiring manager at an interview.

Additional $2 differential for 3rd shift
