Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to ensure safe plasma collection and donor care at our Bellingham center. You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, manage donor reactions, and coordinate with the Center Physician.

The role supports vaccination programs and environmental, health and safety initiatives. We value accurate donor screening, strong adherence to SOPs, and proactive communication with medical staff and donors.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused Donor center role with emphasis on safety and quality
• Ability to assess donor eligibility including consent, medical history, and testing
• Ability to evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and coordinate with medical staff
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health initiatives
• Manage incidents per EHS guidelines and assist in investigations

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including consent and medical history
• Assess donor reactions and coordinate with Center Physician per SOPs
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable
• Assist in EHS-related reporting and incident investigations
