BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, oversee adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable findings, under guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Expected to maintain regulatory compliance, support vaccination programs, and participate in environmental, health and safety activities as applicable.

Competenze

• Licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned (EMT-A and Paramedic); RN/LPN/LVN as applicable.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.

Mansioni

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, history interview, and examination.
• Review lab results and donor test outcomes; notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Manage donor adverse events and refer medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support EHS and vaccination programs for employees; assist center operations.
