Job summary

Qualifications

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion.
• Medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, and blood testing.
• Review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results and assess donor suitability.
• Follow Center Physician standing orders and assist in donor safety and medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and ensure informed consent procedures.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on abnormal findings.
• Handle donor safety concerns and ensure regulatory compliance.
